I am not buying a small monitor just for one app, so I have to give it two stars.RollerCoaster Tycoon® Classic™ is a new RCT experience, remastered in 2017 by franchise creator Chris Sawyer to combine the best features from two of the most successful and beloved RCT games in the series’ history – RollerCoaster Tycoon® and RollerCoaster Tycoon® 2. Things were fine using window mode and there was no lag. That is why I always ran the app in window mode. Unless I were to use a standard 12” monitor that was popular when the game was released back in 2004 or run the app on a Macbook, running RollerCoasert Tycoon 3 fullscreen mode on a big 27” monitor is way too much for my eyes. I might as well buy the CD and run it on a used PC laptop with Windows XP rather than deal with this new update. If I keep the game quality settings very low which removes the scenery when zooming out, the lag goes away but there are still annoying lines that come and go when moving up and down.

The newest update makes the fullscreen gameplay lag as if I had a cheap mac with a cheap processor and little ram.
With the new update, everything changed in an instant. My mac has a good processor and 16GB of ram. I used to play this game all the time and build parks.
